Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems, ensuring 99.9% uptime and security compliance.
- Oversee the administration of employee pension and benefits systems, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments in accordance with FISMA standards.
- Provide technical support and training to federal staff regarding cybersecurity best practices.
- Collaborate with federal agency stakeholders to identify IT requirements and implement solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain detailed logs for audit trails.
- Assist in the deployment of hardware and software upgrades for federal client environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with federal regulations, including NIST and FedRAMP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to government officials.
