Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex system requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems and software applications in compliance with government standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform regular security audits to safeguard sensitive citizen data.
- Lead technical documentation efforts, including creating detailed technical specifications and user manuals.
- Manage and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for system integration and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, preferably within the public sector or a large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Deep understanding of government compliance standards, such as FedRAMP or HIPAA, is highly desirable.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end software development lifecycles.
