Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT solutions for county departments.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, architecture, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity, data security, and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot critical system issues and provide high-level technical support during peak operational periods.
- Document technical specifications, architectural designs, and process improvements to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for enterprise systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, requirements gathering, and project management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, specifically SQL and Oracle.
- Demonstrated experience working within the public sector or understanding of government compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
