Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension benefit applications, retirement requests, and adjustment forms with high accuracy.
- Ensure strict compliance with state regulations, ERISA laws, and internal government policies.
- Manage incoming inquiries from retirees and beneficiaries regarding their pension plan status and payments.
- Perform data entry and reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate records of pension disbursements.
- Collaborate with the finance and HR departments to resolve discrepancies and audit findings.
- Handle sensitive employee data with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Participate in night shift training and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, payroll, or government finance.
- Strong working knowledge of state retirement systems and government compliance standards.
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts and adapt to a changing schedule.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
