Responsibilities
- Process pension claims, withdrawals, and benefit verifications for retired government employees with high accuracy and speed.
- Review and reconcile complex pension data entries to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to retirees and their families regarding benefit inquiries.
- Collaborate with the permanent weekday team to resolve escalated issues and ensure seamless workflow continuity.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal data.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic reports and audits related to pension fund performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, human resources, or government financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and pension management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
