We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Columbus team for our Night Shift operations. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of pension benefits for thousands of retirees and beneficiaries.

Responsibilities
- Process Pension Claims: Accurately review and process monthly pension payments, including retiree contributions and benefit calculations, during night shift operations.
- Retiree Inquiries: Provide exceptional customer service to retirees via phone and email, resolving complex pension questions and discrepancies.
- Data Verification: Perform rigorous validation of incoming data to ensure compliance with federal and state pension regulations (ERISA, IRC).
- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain pension system databases during off-hours to ensure data integrity and security.
- Compliance Reporting: Assist in generating night shift compliance reports and maintaining audit trails for all pension transactions.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with day shift teams to resolve outstanding issues and ensure seamless handover of ongoing cases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, government benefits processing, or financial accounting.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of retirement plans, ERISA, and state-specific pension laws.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access) and experience with ERP or pension management software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect errors and resolve discrepancies quickly.
