Responsibilities

- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings, reports, and legislative testimony for the Governor's Office
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives to ensure policy coherence and effective implementation

- Maintain compliance with California's Administrative Procedure Act and legislative protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive policy development experience in government or regulated sector
- Expertise in California legislative process and state regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in policy analysis, quantitative research methods, and stakeholder mapping
- Proven ability to draft complex legislation and executive orders with precision
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel statewide for stakeholder meetings
