Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for city council
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on climate action and housing initiatives
- Manage stakeholder engagement with community groups and industry partners
- Monitor federal/state grant compliance and funding opportunities
- Lead cross-functional projects with 5+ agency teams
- Present policy recommendations to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public policy experience
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Proven track record in policy development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of Georgia municipal governance structures
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- US citizenship required for federal grant compliance
