Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy briefings for City Council and executive leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor legislative developments and assess impacts on municipal operations
- Develop data-driven performance metrics for public programs
- Present findings to diverse audiences including elected officials
- Manage special projects related to strategic planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of Arizona municipal governance structures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required
