Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state policies and legislative impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for agency directors and elected officials
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives on healthcare, education, and infrastructure
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Manage stakeholder engagement with community organizations and industry partners
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and regulatory changes
- Mentor junior analysts and oversee policy research projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Bachelor's with 5+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 4 years policy analysis or government research experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of Oklahoma state government operations
- Superior written communication skills with published policy samples
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with budget analysis and grant administration
