Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex urban policy issues affecting Dallas communities
- Develop data-driven recommendations for city council and executive leadership
- Coordinate interdepartmental policy implementation and compliance monitoring
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and public-facing communications
- Manage stakeholder engagement with community groups and external partners
- Track legislative changes and their implications for Dallas operations
- Lead special projects focused on equity and sustainability initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Proven ability to manage multi-year policy implementation projects
- Experience with Dallas municipal government operations preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
