Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate comprehensive policy proposals aligned with state strategic goals
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced data modeling techniques
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement across 35+ state agencies and community partners
- Present findings to legislative committees and senior officials using compelling visualizations
- Oversee implementation of policy rollouts with measurable KPI tracking
- Mentor junior analysts and maintain compliance with state regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years progressive policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in influencing state-level legislation or regulations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication with executive presentation experience
- Deep knowledge of Massachusetts state government operations and budget processes
- Professional certification (e.g., PPFA, PMP) preferred
