Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations aligned with state strategic goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement policy initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative bodies and executive leadership
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness and recommend adjustments

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, Stata, SPSS)
- Demonstrated experience with policy evaluation frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Knowledge of California state legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Active California driver's license
