Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues related to natural resources, energy, and conservation
- Develop and evaluate policy options for senior leadership review
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, and testimony for congressional hearings
- Coordinate with federal agencies, external partners, and stakeholders
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments
- Provide expert advice on policy implementation and compliance
- Supervise junior staff and interns as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Environmental Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years federal policy analysis experience
- Expert knowledge of natural resource management or energy policy
- Exceptional writing and briefing skills
- Ability to navigate complex federal processes
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
