Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and recommend evidence-based solutions to Metro Council
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces for major city projects
- Monitor federal/state legislation impacts on local governance
- Present findings to elected officials and community stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ public program budgets with compliance oversight
- Lead cross-functional teams on emergency response planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years government/public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep knowledge of Tennessee municipal codes
- Proven grant writing and federal compliance experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- PHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Security clearance eligibility
