Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and impact analysis for municipal initiatives
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations aligned with strategic goals
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to implement new programs
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for city council and stakeholder review
- Monitor legislative changes and assess implications for local governance
- Manage public engagement processes for community feedback on policy proposals
- Lead data-driven projects using GIS mapping and statistical analysis tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative research methods and data visualization
- Proficiency with statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with presentation experience
- Knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law and public procurement processes
- Valid Florida Driver's License (required for field work)
