Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze comprehensive healthcare policy proposals for federal implementation
- Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative research using advanced statistical methodologies
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Coordinate interagency task forces to align policy objectives across federal departments
- Monitor emerging healthcare trends and assess their potential impact on federal programs
- Present complex policy findings to diverse stakeholders including congressional staff and industry partners
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing new policy initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of federal policy analysis experience with healthcare focus
- Expertise in quantitative analysis using SAS, R, or SPSS statistical software
- Proven track record of developing successful federal policy recommendations
- Proficient in healthcare regulatory frameworks (Medicare/Medicaid, ACA, HIPAA)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for complex policy audiences
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with federal budget processes and appropriations cycles
