Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory frameworks to assess impact on Oklahoma communities
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using statistical software and public data sources
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for department heads
- Coordinate cross-agency task forces to implement statewide initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Monitor federal policy changes and adapt state strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, R)
- Exceptional written communication and report-writing skills
- Deep understanding of Oklahoma's legislative process
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
