Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft actionable recommendations for state agencies
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using primary and secondary data sources
- Collaborate with legislators, stakeholders, and department heads on policy implementationPrepare comprehensive reports, memoranda, and legislative testimonyMonitor federal and state legislative developments affecting California prioritiesLead cross-functional project teams to achieve policy objectivesPresent findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector

- Deep knowledge of California state government operations
