Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and executive reports for leadership
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using government databases
- Coordinate cross-departmental stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Ohio's programs
- Present findings to legislative committees and agency directors
- Mentor junior analysts on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R)
- Demonstrated success with stakeholder facilitation
- Knowledge of Ohio's legislative and regulatory processes
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional travel
- Clear background check and drug-free workplace certification
