Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and develop data-driven recommendations for legislative action
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives on housing affordability and economic development
- Conduct thorough research and prepare comprehensive policy briefings for senior leadership
- Stakeholder engagement with community organizations and federal partners
- Monitor implementation of policy initiatives and evaluate outcomes
- Manage $2M+ budget allocations for community programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in municipal or state government
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis and statistical modeling
- Proven track record of developing equity-focused policy frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of DC's legislative processes and regulations
