Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations for state agencies
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced data analytics
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on priority initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage policy implementation timelines and resource allocation
- Monitor emerging trends and best practices in public policy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SPSS)
- Proven track record of successful policy implementation
- Ohio residency required (post-hire)
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Experience with Ohio Revised Code and state budget processes
- Superior written/verbal communication skills
