Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze state health policies using quantitative data and qualitative research
- Collaborate with legislators, agency partners, and community stakeholders on policy implementation
- Prepare comprehensive reports and legislative recommendations for department leadership
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impact on Texas health programs

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (Bachelor's with 5+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Expertise in health policy frameworks and Texas legislative processes
- Superior written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel statewide as needed
