Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex urban policy issues using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations aligned with Boston's strategic goals
- Collaborate with city departments and community stakeholders to implement solutions
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and reports for public officials
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness and recommend adjustments
- Present findings to diverse audiences including City Council and community groups
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, or SAS)
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Boston's government structures preferred
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license required
