Responsibilities
- Analyze economic trends and policy impacts for state agencies and private sector partners
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with businesses, local governments, and nonprofits
- Manage grant programs supporting rural and urban economic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning projects
- Prepare reports for legislative committees and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, R)
- Deep knowledge of Tennessee's economic landscape
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant administration and compliance
- Professional certification (e.g., PPFA) preferred
