Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and impact analysis for metropolitan Atlanta initiatives
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations addressing housing affordability and urban development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement state-funded community programs
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative testimony for agency leadership
- Analyze demographic and economic data to identify emerging community needs
- Oversee grant compliance for state-funded community development projects
- Represent the agency in stakeholder meetings with local government partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Strong understanding of Georgia's legislative process and community development programs
- Experience managing federal/state grant compliance requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
