Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state policies and regulations to recommend evidence-based solutions
- Collaborate with legislators, agency heads, and community stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced data analysis tools
- Oversee cross-functional projects with multi-million dollar budgets
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Expert knowledge of North Carolina legislative processes
- Proven track record of developing successful policy recommendations
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
