Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate state policies using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Analyze legislative impacts and prepare detailed policy briefings for senior leadership
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives to streamline governmental operations
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness through data-driven assessments
- Lead community outreach programs to gather public input on policy initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public sector policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Proven track record of presenting complex policies to diverse audiences
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina state legislative processes
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Experience with stakeholder management and interdepartmental collaboration
