Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state regulations and propose evidence-based policy improvements
- Conduct research on emerging trends in public administration and technology
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for executive leadership and state legislators
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions across 88 Ohio counties
- Lead interdepartmental task forces on governmental efficiency initiatives
- Monitor federal compliance requirements for state agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in state/federal government policy development
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Tableau)
- Ohio residency required upon hire
- Valid Ohio driver's license for statewide travel
- Superior written/verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
