Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for metropolitan policy initiatives
- Develop quantitative models to assess urban development strategies
- Coordinate cross-agency task forces on infrastructure and sustainability projects
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings for executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage stakeholder engagement with community boards and industry coalitions
- Oversee implementation of NYC-specific state programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis tools (SPSS, R, Python)
- Deep knowledge of New York City municipal governance structures
- Proven track record of drafting successful legislation or regulations
- Valid New York State driver's license
- US citizenship required for security clearance
