Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare legislation and regulatory impacts for Texas population
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design Medicaid and public health programs
- Conduct quantitative research using SAS/R to support policy recommendations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative committees and executive leadership
- Manage stakeholder engagement across 254 Texas counties
- Monitor federal healthcare policy changes for state compliance opportunities
- Lead public health crisis response protocol development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in government policy analysis or healthcare administration
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SAS/R/SPSS)
- Texas State Government experience strongly preferred
- Expertise in healthcare finance or Medicaid reimbursement systems
- Valid Texas driver's license
- PHR/SPHR certification or equivalent
- Experience with federal grant applications (HRSA/CMS)
