Responsibilities
- Analyze legislation, regulations, and policy trends to inform strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement with state agencies, legislators, and community partners
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps
- Monitor program effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative committees
- Manage policy research projects with $500K+ budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven ability to navigate complex legislative processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Washington State residency required
