Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate comprehensive policy proposals for metropolitan governance initiatives
- Analyze complex data sets to inform evidence-based decision-making processes
- Coordinate cross-departmental implementation of strategic urban planning projects
- Prepare detailed legislative briefings and executive reports for city leadership
- Engage with community stakeholders through public forums and advisory committees
- Monitor policy outcomes and recommend adaptive improvements quarterly
- Lead intergovernmental partnerships with state and federal agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative and regulatory documents
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean driving record
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with GIS mapping and spatial analysis preferred
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
