Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze transportation policy frameworks aligned with state and federal regulations
- Conduct legislative impact assessments for proposed infrastructure bills
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local government stakeholders on policy implementation
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for executive leadership and legislative committees
- Lead cross-functional teams on regulatory compliance initiatives
- Monitor emerging transportation trends and recommend policy adjustments
- Represent the agency in public forums and stakeholder negotiations
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government/public sector
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- Expertise in federal/state transportation regulations (FTA, FHWA)
- Proven track record in legislative analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Advanced proficiency in policy research tools and data visualization
- Strong understanding of Pacific Northwest transportation infrastructure
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines
- Valid Washington State driver's license
