Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging policy trends in urban development, healthcare, and education
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for state agencies
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with community leaders and government officials
- Monitor implementation effectiveness of existing programs through data analysis
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multi-agency initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government policy analysis or public sector consulting
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- NY State residency required within 30 days of hire
- Valid NYS driver's license preferred
