Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate policy proposals aligned with DC's strategic priorities
- Analyze complex datasets and economic trends to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with agency leaders to implement evidence-based solutions
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership
- Manage cross-functional policy initiatives from conception to implementation
- Monitor federal legislation and regulatory changes affecting DC operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, Python, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in policy development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local government structures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and public consultation processes
