Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze economic policies supporting innovation hubs and tech corridors
- Lead cross-agency initiatives for workforce reskilling programs
- Conduct economic impact assessments for major infrastructure projects
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings for legislative committees
- Oversee implementation of federal/state grant programs
- Manage stakeholder engagement with industry leaders and local governments
- Monitor emerging economic trends and recommend adaptive strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in economic development frameworks and metrics
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Stata, SAS)
- Proven track record of translating policy into actionable programs
- Strong knowledge of Washington's economic landscape
- Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
