Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex public health policies and environmental regulations
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for legislative review
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with government agencies and community partners
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Monitor implementation of new policies and evaluate effectiveness
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on emerging public health issues
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Health, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with Colorado state government processes and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
