Responsibilities
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data to identify emerging policy trends and community needs
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations aligned with Nashville's strategic goals
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to implement evidence-based solutions
- Present findings to elected officials, stakeholders, and the public
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness through KPI tracking
- Lead public engagement sessions to gather community input
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative proposals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sectors
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Experience with budget analysis and fiscal impact modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tennessee residency required within 90 days of hire
