Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations for state legislative initiatives
- Analyze complex healthcare data to inform strategic decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder engagements with community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony materials
- Monitor federal regulatory changes affecting Illinois healthcare systems
- Lead interdepartmental task forces on public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government policy analysis or healthcare administration
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS/R)
- Illinois residency required at time of hire
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare program regulations
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities
- Valid Illinois driver's license
