Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive policy research using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Develop policy briefs, legislative proposals, and implementation roadmaps
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions with community groups and agencies
- Present findings to County Board committees and executive leadership
- Monitor policy outcomes through KPI tracking and impact assessments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven success in stakeholder management and public speaking
- Knowledge of Illinois state/federal regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in policy writing and legislative drafting
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
