Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for city council initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and implementation plans
- Coordinate cross-departmental stakeholder engagement
- Monitor federal/state compliance for local programs
- Lead public policy impact assessments
- Present findings to elected officials and community boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Expert knowledge of Texas municipal governance structures
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with federal grant compliance frameworks
- Valid Texas driver's license
