Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Prepare legislative briefs and executive reports for state officials
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives on healthcare and economic development
- Manage stakeholder engagement with community organizations
- Monitor federal policy changes impacting Nebraska residents
- Lead data-driven research projects using advanced analytics
- Maintain compliance with Nebraska Administrative Code
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofits
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Deep knowledge of Nebraska state legislative processes
- Proven track record of producing policy recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with public sector budget analysis
- Nebraska residency required at time of hire
