Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues related to urban development, education, and healthcare
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement strategic initiatives
- Monitor federal and state legislative developments affecting DC
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling reports and presentations
- Manage policy implementation timelines and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, Excel)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with DC government operations
