Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex healthcare policies, regulations, and emerging industry trends
- Develop comprehensive legislative proposals and regulatory recommendations
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and testimony for congressional hearings
- Coordinate with federal agencies, stakeholders, and congressional offices
- Evaluate program effectiveness using data-driven methodologies
- Manage cross-functional projects with tight deadlines and high visibility
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise policy development workflows
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of federal government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in healthcare legislation and regulatory processes
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of developing successful policy initiatives
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of CMS, FDA, and NIH regulatory frameworks
