Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations through quantitative research and stakeholder engagement
- Analyze legislative impacts and fiscal implications for county initiatives
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on housing, transportation, and sustainability
- Prepare executive briefings and legislative testimony for County Council
- Manage complex datasets using advanced statistical modeling tools
- Oversee implementation of Maryland state compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public sector policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI)
- Proven track record of translating research into actionable policy
- Strong understanding of Maryland state and federal regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with executive audiences
- Valid Maryland driver's license (required for field visits)
