Responsibilities
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data and legislative trends to inform policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and review policy documents
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with community leaders, legislators, and agency partners
- Monitor implementation of state programs and evaluate effectiveness through quantitative analysis
- Prepare executive summaries, briefings, and testimony for legislative committees
- Lead special projects addressing emerging issues like workforce development and economic equity
- Maintain compliance with Arizona state regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing evidence-based policies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
- Experience with Arizona state legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (may require travel to state facilities)
