Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for state legislative initiatives
- Analyze fiscal impact of proposed regulations using advanced modeling tools
- Coordinate cross-departmental task forces on public health initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Monitor implementation effectiveness of enacted policies
- Manage stakeholder engagement across 100+ county jurisdictions
- Prepare annual performance reports for transparency compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical modeling
- Active NC government security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience with NC General Assembly procedures
- Proven track record of implementing equity-focused policies
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
