Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive health policy recommendations through quantitative research and stakeholder engagement
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance for Medicaid and public health programs
- Lead interagency task forces addressing health disparities in metropolitan areas
- Prepare executive briefings for policymakers on emerging health threats and interventions
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on chronic disease prevention
- Oversee data collection and performance metrics for health equity initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, or Stata)
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Deep knowledge of Illinois public health systems and regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication with diverse stakeholders
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Valid Illinois driver's license
