Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based housing policy recommendations using quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Coordinate with city officials and nonprofit partners in Bexar County
- Monitor federal/state legislation and draft legislative testimony
- Manage $2M+ grant portfolios for community development projects
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Lead cross-functional teams on affordable housing initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive impact assessments for new programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS/R) and GIS mapping
- Texas state residency required at time of hire
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Experience with HUD programs and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits
- Proven track record of implementing community revitalization projects
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills in English/Spanish
